BECOMING Project progresses
The Erasmus+ BECOMING project is well on its way to achieving its planned results. The Italian partners worked in the window and door frame sector. The PESTEL analysis and Foresight study results allowed Roscioli Development to draw three “evolutionary scenarios of the sector” referred to three slot of future time. From these scenarios Roscioli Development coordinated a group of entrepreneurs and managers associated with CNA Abruzzo. They defined the Emerging Skills Roadmap. The emerged Skill needs are partly related to new technologies,ì and partly related to customer service.
Subsequently in cooperation with ilmiolavoro srl, an in depth observation of the condition of low skilled workers of SMEs was carried out. In summary, it emerged that the low skilled workers are not aware of the risks of leaving the labour market. They are willing “to put themselves in the game” if they will obtain economic benefits. Entrepreneurs and experts have a more pessimistic view of the self-perception of low skilled workers.
However, an availabillity of the workers to begin personal development pathways has emerged.
